The Front End Developer will be responsible for building the client-facing portions of interactive products. Included in this process will be extensive cross-browser compatibility testing and QA, frequent feature implementation, all while ensuring code quality. Will work closely with art directors and members of the creative team turning designs into products.

Knowledge of common social media platforms and their APIs is preferred. Ability to work on an agile team in a fast-paced environment is essential. The Front End Developer will report to the Director of Technology.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Extensive knowledge of UI/UX development processes, state of the art interface conventions and current best practices

• Strong familiarity with Social Media platforms and general knowledge of their APIs (includes Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc..)

• 2+ years of experience preferred • HTML(5) • CSS3 • jQuery

• Knowledge of AJAX • Experience with Git and agile team workflow • Write organized, reusable code

• Experience with Ruby on Rails applications • HAML and SASS experience preferred but not necessary
