This person must have a passion for digital trends and innovation, combined with a sound understanding of consumers, social networks and brands. This individual excels at asking the right research questions and at unveiling significant patterns and correlations in large sets of data. This individual is comfortable manipulating raw data and generating compelling and understandable graphs. Previous experience of media and audience research would be a plus.
Reports to: Analytics Team Leader
You would be expected in particular to:
• Design, implement and interpret primary data as well as correlating it with secondary data
• Use digital and social tracking tools (channel analytics), as well as social conversation monitoring tools (text analytics)
• Generate comprehensive reports that visually represent KPIs and inform the client about potential successes and failures of a social campaign
• Research audiences and their media / content consumption patterns
• Analyze brands and products and how people relate to them Requirements
• Strong knowledge of and interest in social media
• A successful first experience in data-driven marketing or quantitative analysis
• Adept at extracting meaningful insights from multiple sources of data
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
• Ability to operate in a systematic and logical manner, with use of good judgment
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment, and to remain graceful under pressure, a good sense of humor
• Proactive, self-starter who can work well both independently and as part of a team
• Organized, accurate, attention to detail
• Willingness to travel 20-40% of the time and be the voice of the team/company in front of clients
Experience in using social media research and analysis tools, such as Radian6, Cymfony, Facebook Insights or Youtube Insights, is useful but not mandatory.
