• Bachelor’s degree (required) or Master’s degree (preferred) in public relations, marketing, communications, journalism or related field • Experience in leading technology, healthcare and professional services account teams • Broad base of experience in core competencies of public relations including media relations, analyst relations, thought leadership, strategic counsel etc.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of social media concepts and platforms (required) and has engaged in social media or led • Highest-ranking member of account teams • Assure all accounts are properly staffed (manage AS, AD level)
• Assure all accounts stay within hours/are profitable • Assure all team members are filling their job descriptions within accounts (Account Director, Account Supervisor, SAE/AE, AAE/Interns)
• Assures accounts are setting, achieving and exceeding goals on an ongoing basis
o Work with client and team to create clearly defined strategy and scope of work for accounts
o Work with client and team to create internal and external metrics to measure success
o SMT/RMT o PR Sourcecode, ProfNet o Cision, Vocus o Continually identify, vet and bring in new vendors o Incoming inquiries/RFPs o Prospect communications o Meetings o Proposal writing o Pitching o Client onboarding • Proactive business development work o Prospecting o Networking o Industry associations • Make recommendations on staffing and pricing for prospective new business opportunities • Make recommendations on new service offerings/ways to package current services
