Serve as a dynamic change agent and aggressively lead business improvement projects using TCV (Total Customer Value) tools. Provide sustained improvement to critical manufacturing and transactional processes to help management achieve strategic goals and impact financial results. Challenge conventional thinking and assemble multiple teams as needed to support tactical efforts, serving as both a team leader and coach.

Other important requirements: comfortable with ambiguous and changing situations, proven ability to work with and lead diverse groups, adept at building rapport and influencing others in a positive manner, strong problem solving and analytical skills, and documented project experience.

1. Assist in the planning and implementation of TCV strategies to achieve overarching global business strategy.

2. Apply lean manufacturing and six sigma concepts in manufacturing and transactional process settings.

3. Lead/coordinate TCV (i.e., kaizen, value stream mapping, six sigma variation reduction, etc.) events/activities as required including the planning of events and resources, evaluating candidates and recruiting teams, training and leading teams, achieving event objectives and documenting performance.

4. Mentor and coach less experienced TCV personnel and participants in their lean and six sigma initiatives. 5. Work with suppliers and customers to spread TCV principles through the entire value chain. 6. Establish appropriate metrics and controls to facilitate easy maintenance and sustainment of improvements. 7. Assist in the planning and implementation of TCV Tactical Implementation Plans for all value streams. .

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: 1. Engineering Bachelors Degree required

2. Green Belt, Black Belt and/or Master Black Belt certification(s) preferred.

3. Minimum 7 years experience in a manufacturing environment

4. Minimum 3 years experience in a Lean Manufacturing position or Six Sigma variation reduction assignment; Kaizen experience is a must

5. Ability to interact with and lead small teams of diverse personalities while remaining tactful, professional and flexible

6. Ability to work with large volumes of process data and with statistical methods

7. Excellent verbal and written skills necessary to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with our supplier/customer network 8. Excellent organization and follow-up skills

9. Ability to work under extreme confidentiality

10. Ability to successfully/effectively instruct adult learners
